Email horms@yaumoai.com with the app version, macOS version, steps to reproduce and container/codecs if known. Do not send private or copyrighted videos without the necessary rights and your own review. We do not require an app account or a media upload.
Open a video
Choose Open Video, drop an authorized video into the window, or grant a folder to build a queue. Folder import scans its top level and uses natural filename order; network streams and playlists are outside this release.
Files and older collections
Accepted extensions are MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, WebM, AVI, RM and RMVB. Tested families include AVC/HEVC, VP9/Opus, MPEG-4/MP3, RV20/AC3 and RV30/RV40 with Cook. Compatibility depends on the codecs and file integrity. Missing indexes or truncated RM/RMVB can give inaccurate durations or limited seeking. A truncated RV30/ATRAC3 regression fragment verified decoding and playback controls, not seeking. DRM, universal format support and HDR color accuracy are not promised.
Subtitles and sound
Choose embedded or external SRT/ASS/SSA, select a track, adjust timing or preview external subtitle encoding. ASS retains authored styling by default; plain-text mode omits animations and vector drawings. Keep authored mode for complex layouts.
Speed and resuming
Choose one of seven speeds from 0.5× to 2×, with optional speed memory and pitch preservation. Reopen a video to resume its stored progress. History can be disabled for a session or cleared in Settings.
Access or playback problems
Reconnect a disconnected drive and authorize the file again. For unreadable media, try another file and review the error. For subtitles, confirm the track and encoding before adjusting timing. Diagnostics can be reviewed and saved locally for voluntary sharing.
